collect directory is not a directory?

What's that? The master can stage the files, but then cannot?? 

Not sure I understand what this means...

2005-08-23T12:19:53 EDT --> [INFO   ] Staging peer [lethe.koumbit.net].                                                                                      2005-08-23T13:14:24 EDT --> [INFO   ] Staged 16 files for peer [lethe.koumbit.net].                                                                          
2005-08-23T13:14:24 EDT --> [ERROR  ] Error staging [lethe.koumbit.net]: Collect directory is not a directory or does not exist on disk.
