At Daniel's urging, I've decided to upload Cedar Backup into the official Debian repository. Hopefully, Daniel is right and the additional exposure (!) will result in some new users. I have to admit to a bit of trepidation about this - I've before never put any of my own software in front of so many people - but I think it will be OK. The version 2 release does seem to be pretty stable. The ITP has been filed as Debian bug #315808, and I made the upload just a few minutes ago. The package will have to go through an ftpmaster review process before becoming available to the general public. It will probably appear in the 'unstable' archive sometime in the next 2-4 weeks, assuming it is approved. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. KEN -- Kenneth J.
